Clarify api page

The role of the documentation project about improving the rails API (http://railsdocumentation.org/ap...) could see some clarification:
<eljo_> what i don't really get is why the patched version of the api docs isn't in rails itself? or is the patched doc the same as edge + tickets?
<mrneighborly> yeah it's just all of our tickets rolled into one huge patch which actually needs to be updated to work with edge because they committed a big part of it to trubnk
